Terry Ward
Life Through my Eyes
I have been taking colour pictures since 1976, starting with a small 120 film camera.
I look and document, trying to capture light, mood and feeling.
I have been featured in the media, magazines, books and websites, I sell my
images through Getty Istock, Alamy and my own Archive43 images through this website.
I have published many titles including my landscape photo book Vista,
a historical pamphlet Back to Basics, and my yearly look at music and culture , the GURU zine. I also
hold a small archive of my work at the Saffron Walden Town Library as well as selling prints of my work online.
I have had many exhibitions of my work over the years including 'Mill Road's Finest Hour' a documentation of
the shopkeepers of Mill Road in Cambridge. This was shown at the Cambridge Collection.
I also lecture on many subjects including photography, railways, land and garden history.
Archive43 is a body of work that totals over 20,000 images taken since 1976.
I am always trying new ideas and projects through photography.
